Community Groups
As well as belonging to one of our congregations we hope all those involved in Bridge Community Church will join a Community Group. These are smaller groups that meet mid week to outwork their devotion to God, their devotion to one another and their devotion to those who don’t yet know Christ.
Devotion To God
 Regular home based meetings where we can worship God, study the Bible and experience the presence of Holy Spirit are at the heart of our community group life.
Devotion To One Another
Community groups are one of the key ways we are seeking to ensure that everyone in the church is being well cared for. They are the key context where the ‘one anothering’ that is encouraged in the Bible can take place. Although many pastoral needs will be met in these groups, we also have a Pastoral Care Team which can offer more specific care and input when needed.
Devotion To The Lost
Our Community Groups are committed to reaching out with the Gospel to those who don’t know Jesus. As well as encouraging one other to reach out to friends, neighbours and work colleagues, most of our groups have developed a concern to reach out to a particular group of people. For example people living in the same area, people at the same stage of life, people with similar interests, or people with a common need.
